Compass Rose House

The Compass Rose House features a spacious main building with a gourmet kitchen, a dining room that seats 10 people, and an expansive living room with a 65-inch TV. It also includes a separate washer and dryer.

This home’s unique design offers four separate king bed suites, allowing guests to retreat to their own private cabana. Each cabana is equipped with a 43-inch TV, a king-sized bed, and a private bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The main house and two private cabanas on each side form a perimeter around a refreshing saltwater pool. Guests can enjoy the private back porch with outdoor furniture and a dining area by the pool, overlooking canals that lead to the beautiful Placencia Lagoon. The house is situated on a large lot nestled among old-growth trees and various palm and coconut trees.

Both the main house and the four master suites are elevated two steps above ground level, ensuring easy access for all guests.

Additionally, a short walk will take you to the Ceiba Beach Resort, where you can enjoy Mickey’s Restaurant, the swim-up bar, and a stunning beach shaded by numerous palm trees throughout the day. Alternatively, you can walk to the end of the street and through our landscaped park to view the majestic Mayan mountains and experience amazing sunsets every night.

Compass Rose House is located in the Maya Beach Village - a village in the Stann Creek District of Belize located on the Placencia Peninsula, between Riversdale Village and Seine Bight and is associated with Ceiba Beach Resort.

  • You can use the “Book Now” button which will link you to our AirBnB or you can book directly through Ceiba.

  • To get to Placencia, you must first fly into Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City, and then take a short domestic hopper flight to Placencia Airport (PLJ).

    Alternative Transfer: Instead of the second flight, many travelers take a 2.5 to 3-hour private shuttle, taxi, or rental car from BZE airport directly down the highway to the Placencia Peninsula.

  • We are an affiliation with Ceiba Beach Resort. Just a couple minutes walk to their location, you have access to their restaurant, swim-up bar, and cabanas.

  • Most people rent a car or a golf cart once they arrive at Placencia Airport. The airport is roughly 35 minutes away via golf cart and 20 minutes away via rental car.
